‘You Are Killing Me’: Former Employee Recalls Tob Cohen’s Cries for Help

A former employee of the late businessman Tob Cohen and his wife, Sarah Wairimu, has testified in court regarding the deep-seated marital conflict inside the couple’s home prior to Cohen’s death. The witness, Shilindwa Shishemi, detailed several specific incidents he observed while working at the residence in the days leading up to the tragic event. Shishemi described rising disagreements between the couple, including a specific dispute involving property documents. He told the court that Cohen once instructed him to break open a safe to retrieve the documents. Instead of breaking the safe, Shishemi informed Wairimu. According to his testimony, Wairimu instructed him to do everything possible to prevent Cohen from accessing the files.
